Project Overview

Our client wanted an eco-friendly system to generate renewable energy with low running costs. Many new build homes are being built with their impact on the environment in mind. Indeed, heating, hot water and electricity are necessities in a home and all have sustainable alternatives. While the upfront cost for these renewable systems can be expensive, they’re long-term investments that are reducing our carbon usage by up to 50%.

Solution

Due to the space available on the land where the new houses are being built and the efficiencies needed, ground source heat pumps were the best solution for this project and the installation was carried out in Autumn 2017. The client needed a heating system that would provide enough space heating and domestic hot water for a 4-bedroom dwelling, and the Vitocal 200-G 10kw suited the property more than any other system which made our decision easy. Similarly, the client wanted an affordable source of renewable electricity to power their new builds.
