A seven-bedroom detached farm house converted from oil to a containerised biomass wood pellet boiler, supplying heat to a radiator heating circuit and domestic hot water.
Lynn House Farm wanted a renewable energy alternative to their current oil heating system on their large farm house building.
We installed a Viessmann Vitoligno 300-P 48kw wood pellet biomass boiler, with an external pellet silo. Enabling bulk blown delivery of pellets to a bespoke design, self-contained shipping container, which connected to the farm house.
The boiler was connected to the house’s existing heating system, with some minor alterations, making the heating system weather compensated, allowing for maximum energy savings and control. The flow temperature is automatically adjusted dependent on outside the temperature, to give a more comfortable temperature.
All the heating zones were controlled via the Viessmann Vitotronic control system, which has a direct link to the boiler control unit giving maximum control over the burner and boiler function too.
